Tony has been professionally training dogs since 1999. He started training his first German Shepherd in the sport of Schutzhund then transferred him over to a dual purpose police dog and sold to a local Police Department. His next German Shepherd, Rex, was imported from Holland and worked as a dual purpose police dog at the Danville Police Department, where Tony worked the streets as a Patrol/K9 Officer for 14 years. Tony certified Rex with NAPWDA and ILPWDA annually in Obedience, Tracking, Handler Protection, Area and Building Search and Narcotic Detection. K9 Rex, passed away in April of 2011.
Tony has worked with hundreds of dogs and trained with multiple professionally dog trainers from all over the United States and Europe. He continues to train with top police K9 handlers and world schutzhund competitors from all over the world.
Tony is a Certified Pet Care Technician with the Pet Care Services Association and an AKC Canine Good Citizen Evaluator. He also volunteers his time to conduct SAFER test for the Vermilion County Animal Shelter.
Tony was recently brought on to the East Central Illinois Police Mobile Training Unit 12 to certify Police Narcotic Dogs.

Garla is the person behind the scene that keeps everything running smoothly. But she isn't the type to hide out in the office. Garla can be seen helping out anywhere she is needed. She answers the phones, takes reservations for grooming, lodging and training, helps out with feeding and can even been seen snuggling with some of the clients. We are excited to have Garla as a part of our team.
Garla is also the owner of Tropical Travel of Tilton, our very own full service travel agency located here in our lobby. Garla can help plan your vacation while your furry kids enjoy their vacation here at Paw-a-day Inn K9 Suites.

Haleigh is a graduate of Georgetown-Ridgefarm High School and started here at Paw-a-day Inn K9 Suites as a Lodging Care Specialist in January 2015.
Haleigh loves to read and paint. She writes stories and has a goal of becoming successful by selling her paintings and writing a novel. Haleigh is the drum line instructor for the Georgetown-Ridgefarm Drumline.
At home Haleigh has 2 best friends, Sammy a 3 legged black lab and Oliver a Yorki Schnauzer mix.
In October 2015, Haleigh was promoted to "Team Lead" as a Lodging Care Specialist. Way to go Haleigh!!!
In October 2017, Haleigh was promoted to "Assistant Director of Lodging!
Carolyn has been professionally training dogs for many years, from group obedience classes to one on one to problems solving with dogs, Carolyn has been doing it all. Beginning with competing in 4H she has moved up to the national level in the sport of Schutzhund.
In 2013, Carolyn and her German Shepherd Grant z Deihlomov won the Mideastern Regional Schutzhund III Championship. Carolyn's love of the sport moved her to purchasing her new imported German Shepherd "Ben. With K9 "Ben" Carolyn is looking for a National Championship.
After retiring from teaching in 2016, Carolyn has been focusing on her training here at Paw-a-day Inn K9 Suites and Midwest Professional Canine Services.

Elizabeth started her career with Paw-a-day Inn K9 Suites in November 2015. She describes her time here at the "Dream Job!". Elizabeth, who loves the outdoors, is excited and eager to come in everyday to play with the dogs. "I can't wait to come in and see who is here!" says Elizabeth.
After graduating from Covington High School in 2013, Elizabeth has been eager to begin a career with animals. She is looking forward to starting Grooming School soon.
At home Alessa, a lab mix, and Djanjo, a Walker Coonhound, keep Elizabeth company. When she Elizabeth isn't here taking care of our four legged friends, she enjoys hunting and spending time with family.

Cheyanne graduated from Danville High School in 2016 and started her career in animal care with us in December 2016. Cheyanne has a true love for animals, especially dogs. Her goal is to become a professional dog groomer, eventually owning her own Grooming Spa in Tennessee with her sister.
Cheyanne has 3 dogs of her own at home: Max, a Golden Retriever, Baby, a Corgi/Pomeranian mix (her very first dog) and last but definitely not least, Maya, a pitbull/lab mix. Cheyanne is looking at adopting a rescue dog from Villalobos Rescue Center in New Orleans, Louisiana soon.
We are thrilled to have Cheyanne a part of our team!
In May 2017, Cheyanne began Grooming School. She will soon be moved up to one of our Professional Dog Groomers! Congrats to Cheyanne!!

Katie has been with Paw-a-day Inn K9 Suites a few times. She began her career here while she was attending Westville High School, moved on. A year or so later Katie came back and during that time was promoted to "Team Lead". Katie then moved on to another career choice and is not back with us as the "Director of Lodging".
Katie makes sure everything is running smoothly in the boarding area.
At home Katie has a Rottweiler and a German Shepherd.
